Toby and Aukje Brouwer, the founders of Beautiful Gate have accumulated over 20 years of hands-on experience in identifying and addressed the needs of local communities in Southern and East Africa. They founded Beautiful Gate South Africa in 1994 whose aim is to care and protect children and mobilize the communities in which they live. Subsequently they founded Beautiful Gate International in 2005 with a focus on building organizational and Institutional capacity and a focus on women’s dignity and health. Beautiful Gate has three branches, one in Cape Town South Africa, Maseru Lesotho and Kitwe Zambia.
Our accountabilityBeautiful Gate International is a South African registered company registered in January 2005. Registration number: 2005/001467/08. We offer a variety of developmental services and training to nonprofit, community based organizations and churches.
